Style Midi Dress For Early Spring
Midi Dress Two Ways
It's that time of the year again, every brand is pushing out its spring summer collection and you see bloggers blab about pistachio is the color of this spring. But the thing is, it's still SO COLD! Well, I honestly can't wait for spring so I bought this midi dress to have a taste of the new season. Midi dress is the most practical for early spring because it can be layered for any temperature and it hides the holiday weight I'm still carrying. Especially this one from Anthropologie - it's long sleeve, loose-fitting, flowy and I love the color blocking print. Here are my favorite two ways to style a midi dress for early spring.
Midi Dresses I love
Layering With Midi Dress
The first look is for colder days. I layered a turtleneck sweater and black skinny jeans under the dress. For extra warmth, I put on my over the knee boots. I used my Gucci mini bag as a belt - the dress comes with a belt but I think a belt bag that breaks off the pattern a little makes my waist look smaller. My pearl earrings are gifted by Mejuri and I've been obsessed with them lately. They are from their organic pearl collection and I really love the natural shapes and the fact each pearl is one of a kind. (By using my affiliate link you can get 10% OFF your order.)

Midi Dress With Trench Coat
The second look is much more spring-like. From the soft beige color palette to the espadrilles, this outfit is suited for the warmer days in April that my bare legs won't turn blue. A trench coat is my preferred outerwear for spring. It's the one thing that I'm always excited to wear every spring and autumn. And I love how the neutral coat toned down the colorful print and made the outfit looks more elegant. Another thing I adore about this dress is that the turquise color matches perfectly with my Chloe bag. The coordinated color just sparks joy - I feel you, Marie Kondo. Of course, I topped everything off with a beret #parisianstyle.
